Jim Hazell, Managing Director

With almost three decades experience working in the travel and event management industries - and with a background in life science, Jim is the driving force behind GES.
He founded the business in 1999, having held senior positions in both the UK and the US - where he was  responsible for delivering highly successful  global events for major brands in the healthcare, financial and manufacturing sectors.

As well as ensuring that GES stays at the forefront of industry developments  and continues to  extend the range of specialist services it offers, Jim is dedicated to making certain the business delivers projects of outstanding quality that  exceed customer  expectations at all levels.

Rob Wan, Account Director

Having spent many years working with clients in a wide range of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, finance and automotive, Rob brings a wealth of event industry knowledge to GES. Instrumental in delivering internal and external recognition programmes for global brands, his industry experience is extensive.

As well as being an expert in communication systems and delegate management, Rob is responsible for our Supplier Quality Assurance and Added Value programme. His negotiation skills - gained with a leading hotel group lend extra leverage to the buying power commanded by GES.

Gary Willment, Account Director Healthcare

A pivotal member of GES management, Gary calls on more than 18 years experience within the healthcare industry. He heads up a team of specialist professionals, trained in the high regulation and compliance issues specific to this sector.

After graduating with a degree in Tourism and Event Management, Gary went on to hold a number of senior managerial posts based in Europe, where he developed his expertise in international congress. He brought his substantial skills and knowledge to GES over 5 years ago.
